Steps to request and purchase a Dedicated IP address to add to an account using Marketplace in AMP.

What to do or how to resolve

1. In AMP, click the Marketplace place tab on the top menu
2. Click on the Dedicated IP button
3. In the Quantity drop-down, select the number of IP addresses to be purchased
    NOTE: Dedicated IPs are 1 per cPanel, as such Business and WordPress plans can only have 1 Dedicated IP
4. In the cPanel Accounts field, select the appropriate account to assign the IP address(es) to
5. Review the listed price and click ADD TO CART
6. A brief pop-up message will display confirming the add-on has been added to your cart
   1. Access the cart by clicking Continue to Cart or selecting the cart icon in the top-right corner
7. Select the preferred payment method to process the payment
   1. If using PayPal, the Order button will change to a yellow PayPal button to click and log in to your PayPal account and authorize the purchase
   2. If using a Credit Card, select the preferred card
      1. Click Order

Workaround

1. If unable to purchase via the steps in the What to do or how to resolve/Internal Process fields OR a Dedicated IP Credit is being used:
   1. Confirm the domain name for the IP Address to be applied to
   2. Create a Custom Bill Item for an IP Address at $72 per year assigned to the requested domain
       NOTE: If an IP credit is being used, set the Price to $0.00
   3. Renew the Bill Item
      1. Follow the Internal Process and confirm the desired credit card to be used
         1. If an IP credit is being used, advise no payment will be processed but the bill item will be pushed out accordingly for tracking purposes on the account
   4. Once payment is successfully processed, escalate to Systems to request a Dedicated IP address be added to the requested domain

Refunds should be seen as only applicable in particular situations and should always follow the polices outlined. The following rules should be considered:

• NEW ACCOUNTS (WITHIN 90 DAYS):
  • FULL – Within 90 days of purchase
• EXISTING ACCOUNTS:
  • FULL ( RENEWAL ) –  Within 30 days of renewal
  • PARTIAL – 31-90 days
• MONTHLY ACCOUNTS:
  • FULL REFUND – Monthly accounts only have the most recent transaction available for refund regardless of tenure. 

Our customers are important to us, so in cases where they are unable to pay on time we are willing to make certain reasonable allowances. If a customer requests an extension for payment, we will consider several factors in determining whether they are eligible.

Automated billing makes the customer’s life easier and prevents our agents from having to help with payments every month. it can, however, have issues that require an agent to assist.
